Cookie Notice

1. What cookies are and why we use them

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. backspacegeo uses cookies to maintain login sessions, secure forms, remember your language and interface preferences, and understand site traffic. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising tracking and do not share cookie data with ad networks.

2. Cookie categories we use

(1) Essential cookies (cannot be disabled): login state (session identifier), form security (CSRF tokens), consent status. Without them, the admin panel cannot be logged into and forms cannot submit. (2) Functional cookies: language preference (zh_CN/en) and interface settings. (3) Analytics cookies: anonymous traffic statistics (page views, referral channels, de-duplicated visitor counts) used to improve the product — no personally identifiable information. The browser identifier used for de-duplicated visitors (geo_visitor) is written only after you choose Accept all; if you choose Essential only, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control opt-out signal, it is not written and statistics remain session-level.

3. Third-party related content

(1) Customer-site analytics: third-party analytics code you configure in site settings (e.g. Baidu Analytics) is processed by that provider under its own privacy policy, independent of us; (2) the Platform itself loads no third-party advertising or social tracking scripts.

4. How to manage cookies

You can view, delete or disable cookies in your browser settings; disabling essential cookies prevents login and admin functions. You can also limit non-essential cookies via the "Essential only" option in the banner. For browsers supporting Global Privacy Control (GPC), we honor the opt-out signal.

5. Consent and changes

On first visit, the banner requests consent for non-essential cookies; your choice is stored as a cookie in your browser (valid for 1 year). To withdraw consent, clear your browser cookies and revisit — the banner reappears and "Essential only" is available. Updates to this notice are published on this page.
